4 years of Indie

Over the last 4 years, I have developed several different Indie games with multiple engines, genres, and scopes. While my first games were not as good as my latest, I continue to learn and grow each time.

Below is a summary of my most notable work

Spinning Wheel was made for the Boss Rush Game Jam 2025, a month long game jam I participated in with Justin Liu, an amazing artist responsible for half of the assets in the game.

For this project, I am most proud of the boss design, which I have elaborated on here. however, however, the tech art is another thing I am proud of, the blood effects as well as the code animated skeleton and slime bosses.

Loop Lancer was made for the GMTK Game Jam 2025, and it was a collaboration between me and a team of 8 other people that I managed. My work for this project includes the following:

  • Sole Programmer, Movement, Combat, UI, Systems

  • Sole Tech artist, VFX and Shaders

  • Project Management, task lists, delegation, direction.

Celsus Dagger was made for the GMTK Game Jam 2024, I was the only developer behind it, though I used some purchased art assets as well as my own.

the boss design in this game is fundamentally the same as Spinning Wheel, using multiple state machines to create more complicated and reactive encounters. The Enemy design for this game is notable as well, and is elaborated here.
